Anna Maja was born in February 15 1831. In 1853 she married the taylor apprentice August Sjöberg and soon after, their first child Johanna Karolina was born. In the summer 1857 the son Johan Fredrik was born and later in the autumn the family was struck by a disaster - a cholera epidemic. In only three days the family lost Anna Maja and her three year old daughter Johanna Karolina as well as Anna Maja's mother Johanna and her ten year old brother Johan Blomberg.
